Measured Love Poem by Phil Soar

Measured Love

I looked for nothing in her eyes
It seemed a pointless exercise
The love had long ago left home
And now we both were on our own

The loss was felt with equal measure
Once a thing that we both treasured
But now that limitless love was gone
And now we both were moving on
