Medicine Of Six Herbals [29 - 30, Aelaadhi In Tamil] Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Medicine Of Six Herbals [29 - 30, Aelaadhi In Tamil]

29. O, you maiden with bow-like long ink-eateneyes! It is not befitting for the noble men to kill a being, steal and sink in lust. The acts which are just opposite to these three qualities and apt to practical life are abstinence from killing, plundering andlove-life.

30.The great men protect and nurture their children without discriminating if the son was born to the husband, born to somebody else when the husband was alive, born to a maiden, born to someonebut unknown to the husband, bought for a price andborn to the second husbandafter the death of the first.
