Meditation and Penance
I engage in meditation and penance;
In every facet of life,
May I radiate a light—
A light beyond all price.

A gift bestowed by the Ocean of Grace,
Kindling a divine flame within the world,
As I sing the praises of the Lord's holy name.

When the showers of spring descend,
Every blossom hums a melody;
The forests and trees stand adorned,
As if the stars of the heavens have come to rest upon.

I offer my salutations to You, O Holy Lord,
For You pervade every single atom of existence.
