Meeting K In The City Poem by james watkin

Meeting K In The City

A species of Beauty
Distinct from mortal forms, insofar
Twas first beheld, arrayed
In a glowing light.
To confess it summer's, could'nt quash
This devotee's sight.

As unique the effect
Unearthly bewitches, caverned lanes
Had been reformed into
Grottoes of visions.
At which instant I knew me a soul
Through blessed reactions.

It wavers and undulates like the unwinding sea. Lovely poem. Glad to read a fellow poet who is not ashamed of liking Emily

Thankyou so very much Pasquale. Yes. Adore miss Dickinson's writings. And envy her lifestyle! Formerly my own! !
