Meeting On The Fortieth Day Poem by Liza Sud

Meeting On The Fortieth Day

Rating: 5.0

Meeting on the fortieth day
After my own birthday.
With a golden cup you came
In the yellow robes.

You said that I want to kill
Someone, but I answered
"No, I don't" immediately,
quickly a black cloud

Flied to window leaf, like spook
Out of my mouth,
You communed me from a spoon
Something sweet straight out.

A white angel in my eyes
stuck in white like gluing.
At the whole world with love
Right off I was looking.

And I didn't know before
How Communion's working.
And great happiness was brought
After that appointment.

That is why I love so much
Simeon in Temple.
Forty days was Jesus Christ.
When the elder met Him.
