Melancholy Moments Poem by Paul Warren

Melancholy Moments

What will I find today
Will I know it right away
So familiar in days gone by
And to know it you can't deny

Do you feel those melancholy moments
That are with you every day
Do they sneak up behind you
And wanna stay there too

Sounds out from yesteryear
That was brought together so clear
They still stoke the fire
As you struggle through the mire

Do you feel those melancholy moments
That are with you every day
Do they sneak up behind you
And wanna stay there too

Let the world know that it is fine
And stand up for all of time
The world turns so see
These times were meant to be

Do you feel those melancholy moments
That are with you every day
Do they sneak up behind you
And wanna stay there too

All friends just fade to grey
Even though you wanted them to stay
Where laughter rules the air
Being melancholy is quite the fare

Do you feel those melancholy moments
That are with you every day
Do they sneak up behind you
And wanna stay there too
