Melodies Of A Fading Soul Poem by Noen Muti

Melodies Of A Fading Soul

Rating: 5.0

In shadows deep, my soul does fade,
Life's toll, a heavy burden laid.
Dreams whispered, 'Stay in slumber's hold,
For waking brings a tale untold.'

Dimming lights, a dance with the night,
Hope takes flight, lost in the fading light.
In corners, I sit, time slips away,
Flesh meets blade, a desperate display.

To be nothing, a truth I've known,
Beyond horizons, a soul overthrown.
Images linger in my mind's weary gaze,
Understanding lost in life's chaotic maze.

Real-time echoes, every swallow, every chew,
Becomes a part of me, black and blue.
Cloaked in darkness, hiding my strife,
Dreams unravel, revealing the threads of life.

Dressed in black, years of silent cries,
Found by dreams, where reality lies.
My soul doubted roses in life's bouquet,
Thorns adorned my path, a crimson display.

Cuts and rips, a past on soul's stage,
In the audience, I witness the age.
No more days, the pen has closed its rhyme,
Smiling now, as home calls in the undertow of time.

It's over, and I welcome the eternal turn,
Demise embraced, all return tickets burn.
