Melodies Of Everlasting Splendor Poem by Karpop Riba

Melodies Of Everlasting Splendor

Oh! Shimmering sea of unspoken words,
Thou whisperer of secrets untold,
A fairy tale woven by the birds,
More enchanting than stories of old.

What tales do thy waves bring ashore,
Of mermaids and sea monsters abound,
Of heroes valiant and battles grand,
What secrets in thy depths are found?

Oh! melodies sweet play on and on,
To the soul they bring a serene peace,
Thou dost not need vocal cords to spawn
Songs that make the heart's joy increase.

Happy sea of forever youth,
No winter shall leave thee bare,
Thou art blessed with an eternal truth,
And forever young in thy heavenly air.

Who are these coming to thy shore?
With jingles and music, all in a fray,
To pray before thee, a little more,
A tribute to the beauty that thou display.

Oh! art thou a shape, a form divine,
An attitude of serenity and calm,
With a forest that is sleek and fine,
A friend to those who come to thee with balm.

As the world fades and ages change,
Thou shalt remain, that we may see,
Thy beauty real and not estranged,
A truth that shines forever free.
