Memories Poem by Phil Mason

Memories

Memories woven loosely together as in a dream....
Scattered across my soul in movement, stillness and silence
No focus, no direction and yet overflowing with
A pain as new as the morning and as old as the oceans.

Piercing my heart like shards of broken glass
Here, there, stabbing and
Puncturing
My hope, my love, my memories

Of you.

A pain as new as the morning and as old as the oceans. That is beautiful. Love this.10 +
