Memories Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

Memories

Rating: 5.0

And I was lost in
Recalling all those letters
That you never wrote,

All those sweet nothings
That, never once were uttered,
But implied with eyes,

Confessions of love
You never once brought on lips,
Thru your heart throbbing,

In myriad of ways
You had shown your love to me,
I only can understand.

All these memories
Linger, keep me alive still,
Never my life breath,

And this mind meddles
Now between two loving hearts
To say you ne'er loved!

Thank you Rev BFA, yes, like limericks I often use the Haiku format for non-haiku poems
