Memories Never Forgotten Poem by Kelsey Decker

Memories Never Forgotten

I stand by the sea
Glancing at the waves
Crashing upon the shore
Memories that remain
Flash through my mind

As if it were real
A feeling pierces my heart
As I realize
Its only memories of my past

Your words still enchanting
Keeping me forever strong
The sunsets beauty
Reminds me of your smile

Glancing upon the sun
I feel your warmth
A warmth that you showed
Upon your words and kindness

My heart echoing Screaming far
Trying to reach you
But cannot touch you
For your too far away

A memory you have become
One that will never be forgotten
I walk upon the beach
As the water flows gently across my feet
Smiling as the sunset fades
Remembering it was you who saved me.

Very nice work. Well done. The images intersect the emotion vividly and powerfully. Bravo.
