There amongst the bluebells,
That's where we spent our days,
There beneath the sunshine,
That place we loved to play.
We made such special memories,
Those summers long ago,
When winter finally arrived,
We loved the falling snow.
The frost upon the window pane,
The snowman's cheeky face,
With christmas right upon us,
The baubles we did place,
Upon the old, worn christmas tree,
With glittering lights that glowed,
Excited little faces,
Eyes darting to and fro.
Those memories stay within me,
They can never be replaced,
To spend time with the ones we loved,
In our cosy, much loved place.
