Memories Of Easter Poem by DM W

Memories Of Easter

I walked down Grange Road with rapt, biblical visions/ Towards St Joseph's Church on many Good Fridays./ Easter's vibrant colours made such an impression/ On my young mind. Mundane, grey moments, days & ways./ Were replaced with profound and eerie narratives./ Candle - lit vigils & bold symbols intrigued me./ Those bright impressions in my poetry still live, / And their mysteries still resonate, in my dreams.
