Memories Of Gold Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Memories Of Gold

In these deepest thoughts of mine,
There lie memories so divine,
Of splendid walks to mountain tops,
Of sunny days and lollipops.

Those fairground rides that made us smile,
The bright blue sky, as birds soared high.
I long for moments just like this,
Those special times, i'll always miss.

Carefree were those distant times,
Running, laughing, days so fine.
One moment young, one moment old,
Holding on, to those memories of gold.
