I've been regretting all my life,
Reminiscing about my past when I could still hug my mother,
Play outside without worrying,
Hang out with my friends,
And remembering the opportunities that I let go,
All of those dumb decisions that I made and running away from all my problems,
Wondering what I should have done differently.
But those memories are a thing of the past,
Although they're memories that I can't let go of.
But I can't go back.
** critique: 'critique 2 of 2 verb critiqued; critiquing transitive verb : to examine critically: REVIEW'
criticize has two definitions: '1: to consider the merits and demerits of and judge accordingly: EVALUATE He asked me to criticize his drawings.2: to find fault with: point out the faults of His boss criticized him for his sloppy work.
No one can go back, but we can learn lessons from the past and move forward with sincere heart and clam head, not to repeat the same mistakes again. Good poem to begin with 5*****
Past has already gone by. We can change nothing of it. But we could go back ask ourselves, "what went wrong? " Or "what could have worked better? " Thus learn from every thing. Not just failures, but from successes as well. And live our life on our terms… good poem
five stars. Did I already say that? ;) I'd break this into two 5-line stanzas to make it 'look' more poem-like. And I prefer NOT using a capital letter to start each line, but you DO use punctuation. Good. bri : )
I wonder, Novice Writer, if YOU regret greatly any of your past life. And I wonder how many of the lines of thia poem are about YOU. Any? Hmm?
No, we 'can't go back'. I'd like to go back to some things in my childhood/youth/adulthood. But what's done is done, and I have no great regrets.

I would like to translate this poem
** critique: 'POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM My first ever written poem, plss criticized it' Let's say 'critique*** it', shall we? Certainly, if 'plss' means 'please', don't use 'criticized' (or criticize) .
