Memories Of Yesterday's Family Reunions Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Memories Of Yesterday's Family Reunions

Memories wandering down yesterday's bus lines, always travel-
ing back and forth across the U.S.A., finding time to carry
on conversations along the way.

Bringing joy and happiness to many people, an intense energy
being released as Waylon Jennings came to our family reunions
through the years.

Waylon was one of this poet's brother-in-laws cousins, coming
to play and entertain us with his wonderful talent and easy
going musical rhythms.

A sincere solace covering us whenever he played and sang for
us, joyous memories we will never forget as long as we shall
exist on earth, always able to look back on those good years.
