Memories Of You

It's hard, to let go, of memories I have,
of you, for it's the very thing, that helps,
to get me through! What would I do,
without them? How, would I survive?
To me, they take the place, as if you,
were still alive! Especially, now that
Christmas, is coming, we'd be together
and celebrate the day. Now, of course
it's not the same, since you passed away!
Your presence is missed not only by me,
but the rest, of the family! We reminisce,
about all the good years we shared
together and the wonderful times we had.
That's where memories, come in handy,
as they'll always, keep me thinking about
you, dad!
