Memories Run Deep Poem by Marilyn Lott

Memories Run Deep

Rating: 5.0

We spent time in the country
Enjoying a red dirt day
The air so fresh and splendid
Was invigorating I must say

The cattle roamed with calmness
Babies with their mothers
Not venturing out too far
Though mom didn’t really hover

Farms are such a wonderful place
To find what’s in your heart
It’s the animals and the country side
Though friends too are a part

We ended the day with delicious food
But then that’s not a great leap
It’s all a part of building
Great memories that will run deep!
