Men Poem by Edwina Reizer

Men

They tell you this. They tell you that
and then forget what they've said.
But you don't forget the this and that.
You keep it all in your head.

They'd like to change how you act
and have you think like them.
But you won't change the way you act.
Therein lies the problem.

Men are men. They don't think like you
and don't need a shoulder to cry on.
So learn to accept that men are different.
That's the only thing you can rely on.
