Mental Torture Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Mental Torture

Rating: 2.8

I am subjected to mental torture
It blackens chances for the future
I loose concentration and behave abnormal
The show remains pathetic and dismal

Nothing remains on my mind
I am unable to find
What is wrong with me?
Why am I not free?

Heart feels heavy
I feel so sorry
It is full of worry
What have I to forget and carry?

I have suffered a lot
So many times I have fought
You were upper most in heart's chamber
Now I try to forget and at the same time remember

The storm has lashed shore
The destruction is heavy and more
I go no where to explore
It is futile to think therefore

I am drained and shattered
The whole situation is altered
Sweet drams have turned into dreary nights
I don't know what is wrong or right

I shall move on with correct decision
That shall be almost final with precision
I have long way to go on this journey
As has been designed by destiny

I am not the lone traveler
So no one can forecast as fortune teller
I speak for no one and may not like others
To interfere and force me to bother
