Merry Christmas, Followers! Poem by Timber Koleden

Merry Christmas, Followers!

Christmas time has come to be
Presents are gathered ‘round the tree
In the candlelit calm tonight
I will a present for you write

Christmas time is a time of cheer
To look back across the year
And to smile and gladly say
‘You've followed me until this day'

Mr. Puskar Sikdar, you were the
First to read my poetry
Your own pieces are sure unique
May you be blessed this Christmas week

Dorukhan Baris Oguzcan
You were like a guest unplanned
With poetic spirituality
Thank you for your curiosity

And Isadora Quagmire
With words like music of a lyre
You words are kindly whispered grace
Lines lovingly composed—like tender lace
Christ's sweet light poured out in all you write
Kind blessings to you tonight

Then Mr. Michael Hopkins bold
In your poetry blunt truths told
Thank you for your time always
Be blessed with peace all your days

Ms. Rose Marie Juan-austin
Poetry like a trunk with gold within
Short lines and trickles of thought
With power inside them wrought
Be blessed on this Christmas day
With peace and health in every way

And Ms. Rebecca Navarre
Her poems are gems bright and fair
Hope in Christ so well displayed
His kindness shines in what you've made
Thank you for your words of paise
May you be blessed with joy all your days

Ms. Lisa AT, deep and profound
Sadness and contentment in beauty wound
In excellent rhythm and beautiful rhyme
Such glorious poems every time
Thank you for enjoying my own poetry
May this Christmas for you be merry

Sharon Nimwalizi, you
Followed me long ago and still do
Your poetry is an internal lovesong
May this Christm's your heart rest where it b'longs

And you, Emma Mcullough
Could capture in rhyme the softn'ss of snow
Your pen reveals an imag'native mind
Thinking deep thoughts for simple kind
Many thanks t'you for your kind r'veiws
A blessed Christmas of cheer to you

Jayne Louise Davies, you are of
A special kind, words light like wingéd dove
In dazzling poems—keenly knit art
You sum up the feelings inside your heart
You are a very thoughtful Miss
May you have a Happy Christmas

Jacob Underwood, you are still here
A mysterious scribe, words with a leer
—not bad—your talent is exotic allegory
May your Christmas be pleasant—not scary!

Aarzoo Mehek, a poet of deep thought
You've a way with words—to put them as they ought
In wonderful order you weave your convictions
About life and love in clever diction
You always leave kind comments by
A Happy Christmas from me to you does fly

And young Sunny Quagmire
You're the lute as your sister's the lyre
Words of guidance swift and kind
Thank you for your thoughtful mind
Both you sisters spread such cheer
Merry Christmas to you both—and Happy New Year

Spanner Thegob, you look at life
With optimism and contentment despite
Your passing years—you've followed long
I wish you a Merry Christmas in this song

And Mr. Kim Barney, gentleman he
With clever poems that humor me
Your value goes deeper than your appar'nt wit
Comes from heart that wants others t' smile a bit
You are always very welcome here
May your Christmas be blessed with good cheer

And Michael McParland, with pen
That dripped with such fragrant love and then
Left unannounced, gone without a word
No sign of him, nor of his deep love for Kira unblurred
Thank you for following me while here
May this Christmas find you with your Kira dear

And Daniel Burns, subtle poet
With rich rhymes though most don't know it
Your following is gladly noted always
May Christmas find you in a pleasant place

Mr. Rob Lamberton, goodly fellow
A wise riddle-rhymer with charming glow
Of perceiving warmth in poetry conveyed
In the words and lines you've made
A Merry Christmas I wish to you
May the ground be white and skies blue

Wolf the Poet, a discerning friend
With beautiful poems of truth well penned
You've made your good mark on this site
A very pleasant Christmas to you tonight

Ms. Bharati Nayak, a kindly sage
Who etches insights on every page
Her voice is soft and masterfully wise
Skilled like a weaver who a ribbon swiftly ties
Thank you for following me
May you have a wonderful Christmas of glee

Joe Acacia, a poet of thought sublime
With striking images and smooth rhymes
Your poetry is always a wonder to read
I hope that your Christmas is glad indeed

And June Gray, my latest one
A poetess who has just begun
Thank you for your interest and time
I wish you a very Merry Christmas time

And Anjandev Roy, you I include
Because your frequent comments exclude
This poem's ‘followers only' policy
Your own poetry is a complex philosophy
You are a very much appreciated friend
I wish you a Merry Christmas and happy year's end

Dear followers, may you all go
In peace and joy ‘midst Christmas snow
And find peace in Christ as you savior
May he save you and keep you ever
You are appreciated and respected—may
You know that you are welcome here—‘Always'

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Dear Followers, This poem was written as a token of my sincere gratitude for you and your kind and uplifting comments. You are the best of the PoemHunter community, and I probably would not persist to post poetry here without your support. I hope that Christmas finds you—no matter where you are—with good health and joy. Merry Christmas, Followers! P.S. This poem is not written in an opinionated order or anything like that. Also, if I have less to say about one poet/poetess than another, it simply means that I have not interacted with them enough to write something long. Simply put: I value you all.
