Merry Christmas I Will Say Poem by Randy McClave

Merry Christmas I Will Say

Rating: 5.0

"Merry Christmas", I say
to one and all,
"Merry Christmas", I will say
to Abraham, Muhammad, Buddha and Paul.
"Merry Christmas", I say
without vengefulness or fright,
"Merry Christmas", I will say
because Jesus was born tonight.

Strangers I hear say
"Merry Christmas" this time of the year,
But, many only truthfully say it
to offend, or to inflict others with fear,
They hope that the recipient
is an atheist or a Muslim at the best,
They say it with a spitefulness,
so, the recipient feels condemned, and not blessed.

"Merry Christmas", I will say
to everyone that is near,
"Merry Christmas", again I will say,
with hope, peace and cheer.
"Merry Christmas", I will say
for all that it is worth,
"Merry Christmas", to all I will say
for Jesus's love, and peace on Earth.

Saying 'Merry Christmas' is ingrained with feelings of love, compassion, peace for nears, dears and others and also a celebration of unity of one and all. Loved reading this poem. Merry Christmas. Thanks a lot.
