Merry To All The Galahs - Poem by Herbert Nehrlich 2

So give me light I begged that night,
imploring higher force perhaps in vain,
and soon the moon lit up so bright
and down the gurgler into Hell went all my pain.

It was the season to be gay,
though just in spirit, let there be no farce,
the fat boy barely fits the sleigh,
each reindeer uses muscles of the arse.

Who'd tell a story this obscene,
and even chant the silliest HoHo,
a kangaroo on too much dramamine
down under's where no pisspots run the show.
