Message - Poem by Herbert Nehrlich 2
A message for a poet meant
express post to the Tweeds was sent.
In vain I wait for a reply
hence I repeat this, so I try
to up the volume to be heard
send kind regards to Al the bird.
Methinks at times it pays to play
poetic games to get your way.
Yet summertime in tropic parts
cuts down on energy (and farts) ,
man was created to take care
here in the southern hemisphere.
