I sit here by the shore where you left me long ago
I wrote a message in a bottle with words that you should know
These words are only thoughts I hold inside my head
I try to keep these thought alive don't want them to be dead
The message in a bottle counts from one to ten
I hope to soon see the day where you come back again


One thing left to say about the love I harbor for you
Two small children remind me of the great things you do
Three years ago to this very day
Four little words that made you walk away
Five lovely foot prints on a cement ground
Six yellow vases with flowers all around
Seven long nights I sat to wait for you
Eight small thoughts that bring me back to two
Nine numbers only add one lead me to your voice
Ten things I would say to you if only I had a choice
