It all happened so suddenly.
You gave me life, but now were gone.
Under the water you left me,
Only my instincts to go on.
At first it all did seem so strange,
Wondering what would happen next.
Then my body began to change,
Leaving me hopeful but perplexed.
But in a short while I knew that,
My readiness felt deep inside,
Time for a change of habitat.
So I moved with the moving tide.
Water to land in travelogue,
Once a tadpole but now a frog.
