I had been absent a long year or two
I checked on several old poet friends
with curiosity upon my recent return...

to check poems written with anticipation

unexpecedly sadly most had no activity

multiple topics literature, books, teaching...

maybe Covid struck down illness old age...

for whatever reason obviosly a long time gone?

still I revisit old conversations
remember words past not forgotten
revisit old poems talked about
