Michayah Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Michayah

Yahweh's Spirit came upon me and,
I blew the trumpet of love;
For the fleece was dry and the dew was all over the ground.

To the hill of Mreh,
I will meet my love and the sunshine;
For my name is Michayah and,
Your long hair will entertain me.

Let me feel the pillars that support the temple and,
Let me feel your deep love inside me;
Oh riders of she-donkey,
You will meet my bed in the wilderness of love.

I will live to see this day and,
I am casting long eyes on you my beautiful one;
For it is like the Plan of Yahweh and like,
The riders of he-donkeys.
