Thunderstorm,
A sudden rain fall,
Emergency situation,
Sirens go off,
This is the end of the world

It's raining again
Memories shatter as they hit the ground
So crystal clear and perfect
Yet it all means nothing
When everything is washed away

Lightning strikes
The carbon roses
Glimmered and shattered
And a beautiful aurora
Enlightened the night sky

The beauty incarcerated
As tears of heaven flowed through
The lightning struck
As I awakened with you

Everything was nothing
It was all gone
The world we knew since day one
Was no longer here

It was a new world
Life activated,
And blossomed in colors
As you approached it

It's our world now
So let's inhabit it together,
When it stops raining
Let's get married
And enjoy this freedom together.
