Middle East Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Middle East

Noobody is talking peace,
Neither those who are provoking and instigating
And behind the curtain,
What do they want,
We do not understad it,
War or peace,
A war-battered, ravished world
Or a world full of peace, harmony and love?
But they they are not for peace
As I see
And the last not the least,
No religion is greater than this humanity.

Nefarious,
Boisterous,
On the boil so provocative the petty groups
Acting at the behest of sectarian leaders,
Theocratic states,
Fighting proxy wars so fundamental and fanatical
The bigots, zealots, conservatives,
When will normalcy return to,
When will it peace,
Is now the question often asked?

God knows,
When will it? ,
Is the answer
Which but know it not
Let them be over with batteries,
With stuttering rifles, let them
Till they get fatigued with war-mongering.
