Midnight Dream Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Midnight Dream

The diamond:

At midnight
in gown of white
and gently flowing veil
up to the heavens I ascended
just for a moment I saw you there
my dearest from days of yore
softly I kissed your hair
but left you there
at midnight
