Midnight Graveyard Poem by Amanda Strickland

Midnight Graveyard

Rating: 4.8

The wind whistles
The lightning flashed
The rain falls
The thunder clashed

The ghostly moan
THe wind through the trees
Cracking of the lightning
Popping of thunder seas

Walking through the graveyard
Fingers caress the tombstones
The crack of leaves and twigs
The city clock tower's tone

As midnight strikes
The groans of many
But the gate is too far
No use in running
