Midst Rumours Of War Poem by james watkin

Midst Rumours Of War

The ears of a peaceful
God's knelt implorers
Seared, unendingly of
Mars' warring gossips.

And do they all whirl on
Children and flowers.
Whom knowing no other state
None such droops; fear-dips.
