Midsummer Night Dream

Casting off the midsummer spells then
By honeyed moonlight planes in the painting shifting
The berrystained confusion
Let love be unfettered released like a dove to only God
The soul returning home
The names and places shifting to reveal
You loved only love as an ideal
Not as a place on the map
and God is love and the characters in the play
Are figments
In the final season
Where the play has melted from the stage
And the mirrors and mirages abstain from dreaming.
