Metallic cobras are
worshiped in temples
and homes,
paying obeisance to
Lord Siva.
A live cobra or any snake
found in homes, roads and
gardens is killed mercilessly
by use of tongs to grab.
Bulls made up cement and
stone in a temple are touched
by hands and heads
bow down in reverence.
A live bull entering
into our gardens and boundaries
for food is driven away
by stick strikes without repentance.
A mouse statue near the idol
of Ganesh is worshipped
as it is believed to be the
vehicle of the Lord.
Mice, in homes, are killed
by poisoning them with food, catching by traps
and glue board.
Anatomy of human beings
and medicines for various diseases
are same through out the world.
But men are divided by
creed, colour, castes, countries
and lingoes.
After the ultimate exit of a man,
the bed he used is burnt
in fire.
but the cot, car, gold, diamond,
bank passbooks
are preserved with care.
