Internet has changed
our lives to a great extent.
We keep ourselves glued to
screens of mobiles, laptops,
computers and television sets.
People of all ages and all genders
watch and some are addicted to it while eating.
This distracted eating habit
is not good for health and mental
well-being.
Binge eating and anxiety disorders, obesity are the
many harmful outcomes.
These become the basis of
total breakdown of health.
Eating slowly, chewing foods
properly, involving our sensory
cues of vision, taste
smell gives us all round
benefits of our intake.
To the soil, farmers, cloud
trees, rain, transporter,
preparer and finally
the creator, we must remain connected
and express our deepest sense
of gratitude for the efforts they made.
An insightful, useful, and informative poem with a great advice. Mindful eating is a key to a healthy body and mind and ultimately happiness in life.
A very thoughtful and informative write so rightly expressed and brilliantly presented.

I concur with your ultimate lines that we must be grateful to the Creator, preparer, transporter and producer of foods and of course Mother Nature. Wonderful poem. Top Marks!
