Mind's Eye Poem by Sujoy Bhattacharya

Mind's Eye

Rating: 5.0

Water drops spill
Porous container makes
foolish effort to keep it captive.
I was making a snare
so that I could sieve the essence
of humanity.

Blueness of the sky
Could not listen to the arrogant
voice of blue blood.
Humming birds were mute!
The singing rivulet kept mum!
Listless wind closed hid his wings.
The desert camel had a desire long-cherished
to fly with the Unicorn.
The lonely polestar was pouring
tears of agony to melt the petrified
heart of the distant planet in our
neighbouring galaxy ' s foster child.
Consoling solace fell flat on
the frozen avalanche lamenting
for being isolated from the ice age!
Aromaticblisters on the pelvis of
humanity were yearning with yelling for cosmic
blazer to wrap up the wound.
I was listening with my blinded
eyes the alien discourse -
how to cure the malady of the ailing earth.
