Minor Systems Hiccup - Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Once fashionable
social anthropological
nuclear family...

was promoted
as a perfect modern
model of pedigree.

Archaic extended family
incorporating
superfluous grandparents...

deemed disesteemed
excessive not required
unfashionable gross stupidity.

Now not tended
nuclear family
has been negatively nuked...

solo parents providing
economically fretting
half functional gender balance.

Solo couple-less dysfunctional
unit drip-stone communal
incomplete basic building block...

like a ravenous computer virus
retains less than half memories
integrity of harmonious mature age.
