Mire Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Mire

The noted men get stuck in the mire,
They try hard but can not escape from there,
The dirty inhabitants are anxious about them,
As they can understand the impending danger of the strangers.
The swampy ground is a formidable trap for the eminent and proud persons,
The benevolent creatures of the bog know the way of the safe land,
But the haughty and snobbish characters deny to accept the help of the filthy hands,
Gradually the soft deep mud submerges the men into the murky depths
And they sink into oblivion eternally.
