Mirror Poem by Sumit Ganguly

Mirror

The mirror is a partner
Of my solo moments,
My smiles,
Or green heart.
But my scorching summer,
Cloud or rain,
And long flying hours
Are unknown to the alter ego.
Sometimes my kins find a mirror
Of my parent in me
And I find it in the blue vision
Of my sweet half.
In these moments
The mirror waits in the dark
Like a lonely lover
Counting moments to kiss my eyes.
