In you

I saw the face of God

Though you neither my

Warrior nor my savior

But only my soulful companion.

You walked to my field of vision

Draping pure white tunic

Stepping from mystic abyss of reverie

Silently looking at me

With sheer speculation.

When first glint of you

Shoot shockwaves to my psyche

Hands trembled and body shivered

Bewildered and shuddered I was

As the poignant moment pass by.

When moments of oblivion

Turned to days of hallucination

I visited garden of thorns

And passed through bridge of haydes

For connecting with you

Was an enduring venture

Yet natural as breathing.

Your words spell the naked truth

But I hear blatant lies once told

Your deeds demonstrate innocence

But I see the perils once hit me

Your eyes touch the soul

But could it rekindle essence

Once wiped out

For I Knew

Appearances are deceiving.

You are once in a lifetime

With you I sensed

Bright colors touching horizon

Though my eyes fall on

Cloudy mist tardily spreading

In this world of bliss

The serpent looming behind

Is making its way

With eyes sppitting fire of hatred

Spreading its jealous wings

For snatching me from abode

Where I would be lost for eternity

Reducing me to mere dust.
