when I woke up this morning
the birds have ceased their singing
i can't hear them like before
since the day you walk out my door
the day seemed just the same
i walked in the corridor again
and never noticed an empty space
unlike these few past days
the sun has finally rested
but the longing has never ended
there must be you and me
looking upon the twilight skies
sometimes in the darkest nights
i start to call your name
and wished you would be near
to hold me just the same
even in my wildest dreams
your shadow never stopped the haunting
next to you is where i'm lying
how i wished there's no more mornings
