Mistake



For so many years I loved you
I held you close to my heart
I had you and you had me
I don't understand hwo we drifted apart

We had a long cry and said our goodbyes
We were so young and naive, But thought we were wise
We sacrificed our love for what we thought we wanted

But now I realize you were all I ever needed
