Months, they planned it
Then they knew
The joy they found
When they had you

Tiny then
You'de always be
A promised Child
A broken scream

A Debt to pay
From him to her
Her wish to be
Closer still

His sadness overwhelming grew
An open heart near collapsing
Her desires choking him
Never being lasting

From within at once he knew
She wouldn't be his one and true
And the child which had become
Wouldn't know his father's love
