Mister Echo - Poem by Dorsey Baker

Mister Echo is parking in
the handicap parking spot
in the small parking lot
He is always repeating himself
that is why I call him Mister Echo
He always does things
he has already done
saying things he has
already said
Mister Echo is cripple in one leg
as he wobbles into the store
He repeats himself constantly
as he speaks saying words
only himself understands
He is always double checking himself
he does things backward and forward
and then backwards again
Only thing that he does not do again
is grow up and be grown again!
