Mariano Rivera, 'Mo'
Came from Panama to play ball
With the Yankees, and he could throw,
Relief pitcher for winning call.
His signature, a 'cutter' pitch,
Both fast and sliding to put out
Many a batter's hitting itch,
Many a game saved, no doubt!
Even tempered and generous,
With time and money, Mo proves that
In pro baseball there is a place
At scoring good beyond at bat.

'Mo' Rivera has left the mound,
A best of baseball all around.
