Mocker, Minder, Me: Mr Man Poem by Egwu Collins

Mocker, Minder, Me: Mr Man

Rating: 3.0

'One day during the summer I saw a man'
Thus said me;
And he seems as cruel as he seems to be;
Folly encircled me as the man
Belongs to my clan;

The next day I watched him with open eyes
As to check whether he is of good character;
Instantly, his food is surrounded with flies;
The mocker laughs, as to ruin my plan;
He knows am looking for a good repute;

The minder consoles me to look out for more
As l see Mr Man giving everyone gifts;
He gave me, the minder and the elites;
The mocker dashed forth for his;
This he couldn't respond to;
Outraged, mocker fled;
