Modern ghetto

It is modern ghetto
where unwillingly we want to go
immerse in the devilish activities
and put shame on humanity

we forget
and let
We build our palace
on the fate of hard-working mass

they cannot have even two meals a day
whereas we throw away
precious food into dustbins
I do not see such behaviour

rich nations have no business
yet make innocent people face
the starvation and ill health
despite having plenty of wealth

They make lavish spending on weaponry
but do nothing for the alleviation of poverty
you find the habit of land grabbing
but don't see the bloodstains and sobbing

simplicity has taken a back seat
you turn your face and cannot greet
some arrogance reflects
and you react proudly

whatever may be the case!
we are facing an unprecedented moral crisis
where no thesis works
except the use of clever words
