"Modern Muse La Rouge" Poem by Gayathri Seetharam

"Modern Muse La Rouge"

A Muse which is a Ruse to fuse and induce feelings of love and interest in my career oriented self
-Gayathri B. Seetharam
I baked calsones after a couple of months
And longed for tasty scones
And wished for the phone to set the right tone
And rued the fact that I have loans;

For a little while, I felt warm and almost gave vent to my orgasmic feelings
Which are usually rhythmic in nature
And in depth, the actual ones, have a seismic impact, they leave me feeling shaken in a good way
And would be even more phantasmagoric with the right man;

Hence I am reminded of the Eurhythmics song catche phrase, Sweet dreams are made of thee
And I add that A little bit of spice also brings cream which is all about we, as a family
And I take refuge in the cliché phrase, Love and work go hand in hand
And that puts me in my niche, An affair of the Heart for a married woman with an addition of Renoir's Odalisque;

May I add that it is all about beating the odds with the evens
And I am a part of an odd couple who believe in his his-self and her her-self
And I welcome special male visitors to our home
And if they have designs on my womanhood
Then I am delighted for it is a sign that I have struck home
With my aspirations and admiration;

And if it is about beating the evens are in the spread of the odds
Then we are even for even
And I wish that my son get ahead and perform even better than his successful father
And I wish that I become # 1 in a position granting power in the research world
And which may replace the fact that I have won beauty contests for my facial features only
And obtained acclaim in Los Angeles for my other assets like swinging hips and singing breasts
And original lyrics and tune and for baring my soul which likes exhibitionism under the right circumstances and atmosphere
And I find that I, in one chance, may be sole for soul.
