I do get taken, yes I do,
Away from all my family
In my home at Lincoln Park Zoo.
A little nervous I do be,
But Mom assured this red wolf pup
That I would not be gone for long.
The keepers would just check what's up,
And that I am healthy and strong.
And yes I was in caring hands,
Checked out for this, checked out for that.
I trusted Mom who understands
All stuff in the wolf habitat.

Mom was right on and all went well,
And I went back with tales to tell.
